After turning 30 and feeling completely fed up with the way I looked and felt I decided to get some help. After going to the gym for 12 months I had not actually lost any weight and was feeling board doing the same old thing. After going to the Thai Boxing class which was always good fun I decided to have some more training sessions with Rachael. Her programs completely changed the way I exercise and the nutritional information has helped me change the way I eat (which is still something I have to work on all the time).After only working with Rachael for a few weeks I saw a complete change in my body and my fitness levels and now I am achieving things that I always thought I could not do. In under 12 months I have lost about 11lbs but have dropped my body fat from just under 38% which was the top end of overweight to 28% (normal for the first time ).My muscle mass has increased from 27% now to 32% and I now feel fantastic. I took part in the weight loss club over Christmas which gave me another boost and loads of info on how to maintain my weight loss. Rachael is always there to give you any advice and encouragement and is always interested in your progress .I cannot thank her enough for being such a big inspiration in my life and to help me make small changes that have big results.

Having gained quite a bit of weight (without acknowledging it of course) I was forced to face facts when applying for some life assurance and having to be weighed in front of my husband. There was no getting away from the fact that my pathetic attempts at the gym were doing nothing. Taking the plunge I signed up with Rachael. I can't say it’s always been easy; however, I have loved every minute of it. Rachael makes the training varied and changes the exercises so the time passes in a flash. The results I have achieved are brilliant, learning how to write goals I have lost all the weight I wanted too and dropped a dress size! I even like going to the gym now!

Having taught Food and Nutrition for thirty years, I thought I knew everything about the body’s use of food, but I have learned a hell of a lot from Rachael. Between us, my husband and I are into our second year of training plus Weight Loss Clubs. We have changed physically and mentally feeling fitter with more energy now than the past ten years. Rachael makes training fun, always telling you that you CAN DO IT with positive encouragement and understanding of human nature, she is never judgmental or in any way intimidating. I would recommend her to even the least confident person with low self esteem as she will soon make them feel 100% better about themselves.

I have been seeing Rachael on a monthly basis as a personal trainer since November 2009. I was 10 ½ stone, coming to the gym three times a week, was quite fit but just not losing weight. My second child was just turning a year old and I wanted to get myself ‘back to normal’ again. At my first personal training session with Rachael she explained to me where I was going wrong with my diet and the way I was exercising. Rachael wrote me a new training programme and gave me small easy changes to make regarding what I was eating. The changes were so small and easy that I hardly noticed I was making them. Within two months I was 9 ½ stone, lighter than I had ever been. I had dropped 8% (32% to 24%) in body fat and gained 4% (29% to 32%) in muscle mass. It was amazing; I was spending less time in the gym on a varied and interesting workout and still enjoying the foods I always had. The difference was that I was just thinking differently about them. Rachael’s help, support and knowledge coupled with her passion and motivation for her job has helped me phenomenally over these past few months. I never thought I would look and feel better now than I did before I had my children. I am back to being a size 10 something that I never thought would happen again and am so proud of what Rachael has helped me achieve. Thanks Rachael!!!!!

When I first attended Rachael's classes, I was looking for something different and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Rachael is passionate about what she does and it shows in her work ethic. Often she is working with very different levels of fitness in one class; however she is able to engage, understand and motivate everyone to work to their appropriate level. What I really like is how she manages to treat everyone as an individual and uses a lot of different strategies to encourage and motivate and keep you interested. Her enthusiasm is addictive making the workouts hard but fun to do which leaves you feeling fantastic.

I have been having regular sessions (shared with a friend) with Rachael for 3 years. In that time I have lost weight (and maintained the loss!) and my body is now toned and stronger. I have done a mixture of Thai boxing and gym work. Rachael has helped me set realistic goals and motivated me to achieve them. She always pushes us that little bit further which is just what I need! The gym programmes and sessions are varied and therefore interesting. She has a sense of humour and understands that working out is not always easy. Rachael is an inspiration and has been the influence that has enabled me to be the fittest I have ever been and continue to feel motivated to exercise.

Boot Camp gave me the confidence in myself and my ability to join other exercise groups without fear. (I've done all sorts since Boot Camp and that is down to Rachael’s training sessions).

I approached Rachael in September 2010 for Personal Training because although I was a regular gym attendee, I was not challenging myself and simply going through the motions and doing the same routine each time I came to the gym. The result was an increase in my levels of fat. While I have been training with Rachael the last few months, she has totally changed my gym routine adding in interval training, tabata training and pyramid training as well as lots of different exercises to tone and build muscles. We have laughed a lot during our sessions and I have been really surprised at how much my body is capable of being pushed. Nowadays, when I finish my workout I am hot and sweaty and a little sore the next day. I also think that it is really helpful that Rachael changes the programme frequently to stop my body getting back into complacent mode.
Thank you Rachael for all your help and support over the last few months, I have no doubt that our hard work together will deliver rewards.

As a fairly typical bloke, I was playing at going to the gym once a week doing what I thought was working hard and fooling myself that I was achieving something. A couple of my friends discovered Rachael and also discovered that the way to get somewhere was to follow a structured programme constructed by someone who knows what they are doing. Being a fairly typical bloke, I thought I would give it a try and probably find out my way was best after all, WRONG!! I now train three times a week and meet with Rachael regularly to assess my condition, ( weight , muscle index etc ), and redesign my programme so I am constantly working different areas . With commitment and Rachael's support progress happens quickly - in terms of looking and feeling better.

Having slipped into bad habits, it was time to make a change, l had been going to the gym regularly but my workout sessions seemed boring and were not getting me anywhere.
I needed a structure to follow and positive achievable goals to aim for (not silly ones that end up putting you in a worst place, leaving you frustrated when you are unable to achieve them).
I needed to find out what l was doing wrong.
The opportunity to join Rachael’s Weight Loss Club was advertised. I thought should l, shouldn’t l, ‘oh why not’ so l started the club at the end of August 2010 and l am so so glad that l did.
The Weight Loss Club sessions were fun yet very informative and l soon learnt where l was going wrong and how best l could change my bad habits (those that l knew about and those that l didn’t!).
One of my goals was steady weight loss whilst in the process making my body leaner and stronger. I can only say that with Rachael’s knowledge, help and support my goals are being achieved.
In 21 weeks l have lost 5.5kg (13lbs) in weight, but more significantly 19cm (7¼ inches) on my navel, 11cm (4 ¼ inches) on my chest. I also took measurements for my thighs and bottom and combining all four areas l have lost to date a total of 53 cms (21 inches)!
As part of the programme Rachael also concentrates on reducing body fat and increasing body muscle. The exercise sessions that Rachael designed have helped me to significantly reduce body fat and increase body muscle.
My workout sessions are now much more varied than before joining the Weight Loss Club and Rachael is always on hand to offer advice, support and encouragement. You will always find Rachael extremely available, approachable, knowledgeable and supportive.
If you are questioning whether to join the Weight Loss Club, or any other fitness/lifestyle service offered by Rachael, l would say ‘JUST GO FOR IT’, you’ll have to work at it, it won’t be easy at times, but support will always be there. I can only say that the satisfaction of obtaining your goals, and seeing the physical and mental changes that will take place will amaze not only you, but your family and friends.
The motivation continues when people comment on how good you look – excellent!

Eating more and losing weight, isn’t that what we all want? Well I have been able to achieve this with Rachael's exercise plan three times weekly and her advice on eating; which turned everything I thought I knew on its head. Did you know for instance, that drinking less coffee, (even if you never have sugar) .can help in weight control? I have lost weight and toned up in areas I have been battling over for years. I am enjoying flattering comments on my figure, which I have never had in my life before. I feel much more confident.

I regularly participate in Rachael's Boot Camp class which I'd definitely recommend. If the class could be categorised it would fall into circuit training; however the training is a mixture of team events to help motivate by introducing a competitive edge and individual exercises which is suitable for a range of abilities. Some of the challenges have an element of fun that makes the training enjoyable and addictive and I hate to miss a class!

Before I met Rachael, my ideas about how to maintain my figure revolved around what to eat, what not to eat, and the idea of staying slim. Having such a warped idea of what exercise is and what going to the gym is like, I avoided the gym altogether. My parents being clients of Rachael, I began to realise just how much better they looked and felt about themselves. Feeling inadequate and sick of the constant appetite suppressing and will-power game that was my daily life, I knew I couldn’t rely of food restriction anymore – it was making me too miserable and unhealthy. I thought I’d give Rachael a go. Rachael taught me just how important exercise is to maintain a good figure – there’s no escaping it! Now, I’m much happier in myself being fitter and more toned, and have much more confidence. I don’t have to deprive myself of everything I like, I have a much better idea of how to eat and I no longer have to treat every day as a battle against the ‘love handles’- I feel great in jeans for the first time in 6 years! I only wish I’d found Rachael sooner!

After having two children 18 months apart, I really struggled to get my body back to normal. Just keeping pace with two youngsters became a struggle, let alone trying to fit into pre-pregnancy trousers. Normal gyms were also out of the question as I found them demoralizing, I couldn't get motivated and simply repeated the same dull routines time and time again.
For me, Rachael Hunt’s Boot Camp classes have been a godsend. Sessions are relaxed, varied and fun. It is easy to be motivated when surrounded by like-minded friendly women, all enjoying exciting and often hilarious workout sessions. And while the children still run a few rings around me, at least I can now chase them in my favorite jeans!

I have been training for many years but around 18 months ago felt that I needed some direction and challenge adding to my work outs. The Thai boxing sessions offered by Rachael seemed to be the answer. After the initial session I was hooked, training with Rachael allows me to push my body to the extreme, never once in the last 18 months have I not looked forward to the session, its always varied and great fun, apart from the increase in my fitness, changes to my body shape and feeling much fitter my mental attitude towards my training has improved. Whilst Rachael is a fantastic coach she doesn't use any harsh techniques, just creates a drive within yourself to push harder ensuring you get the best out of your self and your session.
